The small boys are learning the concept of "family." Despite the fact that the always call me "mommy," I'm not really sure they know what that means. They have these little textbooks, and to introduce the concept of mother and father:
Father earns money.
Mother cooks food.
Whatttttt. Not cool. This makes me want to abandon all notions of domesticity.
Very interesting concept though. I never gave any thought to what kids learn just by being in a family environment. It never occurred to me that some children have to be taught about families and what their social-economic importance is. It is too bad that they are learning only one family dynamic. Go teach those boys, Zoe! Show them what women are capable of! :)
